In the PEARLS acronym, S is for Support and Partnerships are one of the most important ways to support PEARLS girls. From our site partners to our community partnerships — we couldn’t do the work we do without a strong web of caring organizations and individuals. We are in the business of relationships, and the relationships we build with you will directly impact PEARLS girls, creating ripple effects in our community.
Here are some ways you can partner with us:
Site Partners
Our site partners are vital in allowing PEARLS to do the work we do. Site Partners are hosts to PEARLS groups and can be schools or community centers.
Community Partners
Community Partners are organizations, businesses, or individuals who want to create strong relationships with PEARLS in order to be of service to the girls by leveraging their skills, programs, and/or services.
Ways to Make an Impact
College Exploration
As part of our College and Career Readiness program, with the help of community partners, PEARLS provides opportunities to learn more about college opportunities, scholarships, financial aid, and more.
Career Experiences
At PEARLS, we encourage girls to explore career paths that will their version of success. Part of the exploration process includes partners who are able to provide experiences like job shadowing or career panels.
Life Skills Presentation
Life Skills is one of our pillars in PEARLS programming. Partnering with individuals, business, and organizations to provide the girls with real-world examples and supplemental information on life skills has a big impact.
Mentoring
The PEARLS coach program focuses on 1-on-1 mentoring for girls in High School. This opportunity is for you if you have ample time and compassion to share with our girls. Learn more about our Coach Program here.
