BLOCK PARTY IS BACK!
We're bringing our annual Block Party back this summer!!
Wednesday, August 7th | 12-4pm
On the PEARLS Block at 1805 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive!
We'll be joined by our neighbors and partners to provide info about opportunities in and around the community, games, music, food, fun and more!

Donate to our Block Party!
This year, we will be devoting our annual block party (taking place on August 7th) to holistically healing the community and celebrating positive local role models.
This event will also serve to provide basic back-to-school learning supplies and needs. You cannot imagine what a fresh haircut, a new backpack, a new outfit will do for our youths’ confidence, but can also play a role in reducing violence.
PEARLS is looking for the following:
$150 gift cards for back-to-school shoes
Hair cut services for boys
Hair cut services for girls
Back to school water bottles
Packed new bookbags with notebooks, folders, and pencils inside
Food, decorations, games, and any other items that would add value to our event!
This block party is a wonderful opportunity for the youth in our community to come together, have fun, and build stronger relationships. To ensure the success of this event and to make it as enjoyable as possible for all participants, we are seeking in-kind donations from generous organizations and individuals like you.
